Northamptonshire v Warwickshire 14th October
The A team were deliberately “under strength” as a couple of A team regulars had been drafted into the B team in an attempt to win that section. The Lads were well beaten 33-11with Mark Winham, Jason Page and Paul Willis each getting 2 wins out of 4. Man of the match went to Paul Willis.
The B team lost the 1st section 7-4, but pulled it back to 10 all. They then only won ONE frame out of the next 17 and eventually lost 31-13.
Martin Tonks, Martin Kirby, Ben Gilbey and John Martin all won 2 out of 4 with the Man of the match going to Tonksey.
The Ladies only had 10 players so they were 4-0 before a frame was played.
The lost the sections 7-4, 7-4, 6-5 and got hammered 10-1 in the last one to end up losing 30-14.
Ali Wilkins and Tor Andrews both won 3 out of 4 with Player of the match being awarded to Ali.
Basically, a F**king bad day at the office!
