Dear All,

I've received an email from Gloucestershire pool (see below) asking for a Home & Away match against their Mens A & Mens B teams.

The background to this request is that Gloucestershire pool folded at the end of 2005 season.
The old committee stood down and towards the end of 2006 a new committee was formed and they approached the EPA to rejoin the EPA.
To be a member of the EPA you have to have a Mens A, Mens B and a Ladies team. They've been given dispensation to play 2008 with just a Mens A & B and they HAVE to have a Ladies team in 2009 or they will be denied membership!
They want some practise matches to try out their home venue and to sort their teams out.

Match format is 44 frames in 4 sections of 11 frames, so we need a minimum of 22 players with preferably 2 or 3 reserves.

This opportunity is open to ALL registered players, not just existing county players so this is a great opportunity for some of you Interleague players to see how the county structure works and what's involved.
There won't be any dress code and no time keeping, it'll be an informal, but competitive affair.
The away match is at Tewkesbury which is about an hours drive at most.

The perspective dates I'm looking at are Sunday Sept 23rd and Sunday Oct 28th, but these dates are subject to acceptance by Gloucester.
If you or any of your Interleague team members are interested in taking part in this match then please email me at:-

or call me / text me on 07932 861790 (please include your name in any text messages)

Please circulate this message to those members who do not have access to email.

Cheers
