NOT have a Youth team - Youth team players are eligible to

Warks Mens A team came runners up in Region 5 after beating Bucks A in a “Winner takes all” decider at Rileys on Dec 9th. Martin Elks came joint top of the R5 rankings with 29 wins from 40 frames whilst Mark Chapman came joint 4th with 27 from 40. Both have qualified for the Mens England trials in March 2013. |

Warks A Seniors came runners up in R5 with Martin Groves came 3rd in rankings and Roy Pontefract came 7th. Martin gets his England trial next May along with existing England player, Roger Hunt, whilst Roy, Baz Hinde and Russ Blinco will have to take their chances in the play offs for the final 2 places in the new year. |

Warwickshire’s Youth team went through as undefeated champions winning 8 matches from 8. Josh Kane wins the R5 averages trophy in his final year with fellow team mates James Willis and Alex Clewett coming 2nd & 3rd respectively, David Ollive came 5th with Jack Slater & Matt Peel coming joint 9th. Josh automatically qualifying for the England Under 21 trials, it means that Warks will have 3 or hopefully all 4 of the remaining players going to the England Youth team trials in January 2013 – we wish them every success. |

The National County pool finals will be held in Great Yarmouth during the first weekend of March 2013. |

| Well done to Warwickshire youth on finishing runners up in the Knock Out cup at the County finals last weekend. After easing past Norfolk 23 - 14 they were finally out potted by the Cleveland who went on to win the competition and become National Champions. They put this disappointment behind them to reach the final of the Knock-Cup by beating West Yorkshire 'A' 23 - 17 and Surry 23 - 19. In the final they finally ran out of steam going down 23 - 14 to GMC. |

No joy for Warwickshire at Interleague KO Cup finals in Yarmouth. Nuneaton 'A' the only team to qualify from the group stages. But they met a very strong Waterloo side in the last 32. Both Reds 1 and Parade Q's won a group game but failed to make it through, Reds 1 losing out to Wigan by 1 frame. Well done to Karl White and Keith Garner who reached the last 32 in the National Amateur knock out. |

Fund Raiser for the Warwickshire Youth Squad at the TILTYARD pub in Kenilworth on February 16th Phil Parkin, Aaron Easson and Rob Butterworth (all England Youth & U21's Internationals) will be taking on all comers to raise money for Warwickshire Youth teams. Also, don't forget that Phil and Rob will be taking part in the European Pool Championships in Daventry from Monday Feb19th to Friday Feb 23rd.
