Only 1 fixture survived the snow in the Premier League.. Strange one as well with the Mount 'B' managing to get to Purley Chase.. Must have a snow plough!!!! Anyways Purley Chase must of wished they hadn't as the Mount skated their way t a 10 - 2 victory. Division One leaders thumped the Hayrick 9 - 3 to open up a 15 point lead over 2nd placed Lamb & Flag who slipped to a 7 - 5 defeat at the Hare & Hounds. Rob 'The Wizard' Bliss was on cue for the Rose as they hammered the Punch Bowl 10 - 2, while The Clock 'A' made the trip to Nuneaton worth while with a 7 - 5 win at the Midland Railway. The Prince became the first team to achieve a whitewash this season quite apt considering the weather, Abbey Social on the receiving end. November 29th

The Mount Pleasant 'B' opened their season with a 9 - 3 thumping of the Hairy Hounds.. Not many teams will do that this season!!! Meanwhile the Royal Oak 'A' beat the Purley Chase 7 - 5 to go top.. In Division One there were comfortable wins for the Co-op 10 -2 over the Parade Potters and Lamb & Flag 9 - 3 over the Lancet... Parade 'C' failed to turn up again at home!!! So it appears that teams will statt to have a bye soon.. Fife Street 'B' moved into first place in Division Two with a 9 - 3 win over the Punch Bowl and have managed to sign Professional Mick Richardson as well.. (oh Lee Howkins beat Him lol  J ).. The Rose go second after another 7 - 5 win.. The Camp are off and running now they've got fixtures but suffered a 10 - 2 hammering from the Clock 'B'.. The Cock & Bear lead Division Three by 4 points thanks to a 9 - 3 victory against the Crystal Palace 'A'.. Abbey Social put last weeks thumping well and truly behind them with a 10 - 2 destruction of the Chetwynd...

November 22nd

The Royal Oak 'A' started the defence of the Premier League with a comfortable 9 - 3 victory over the Blue Lion 'B'. I'm sure they will be aiming to put there disappointing summer league campaign behind them and put in a stronger challenge this winter. Summer league Champions Mount Pleasant 'B' had a bye this week but runners up the Hairy Hounds were bang on cue thumping the Griff and Coton 11 - 1.. Dan Brandon the only winner for the Griff beating Scott Varden in the 9th frame. The Mount Pleasant 'A' were also in action easing to an 8 - 4 victory over the Purley Chase.. There were a couple of stunning fight backs in Division One with the Hayrick coming back from 5 - 2 down to beat the Coniston 7 - 5.. Dave Dobson winning the all important 12th frame. The Hare & Hounds 'A' pulled back from 6 - 2 down to pinch a draw at the Lancet with Bill Brown rolling back the years to secure the draw. Elsewhere the Co-op club beat the Royal Oak 'B' 10 - 2 and became favourites for the title at the same time and The Parade 'C' never showed at the Hearty Goodfellow so start the season on minus 15. In Division Two the Rose Inn beat the Hartshill Oak 7 - 5 with Michelle Orton winning the the last frame to take the match for the Coton Roaders. Fife Street 'B' beat the Pig 7 - 5 and the King William won the final 3 frames to earn a draw at the Punch Bowl with landlord Craig Askey on cue in the final frame. In Division Three the Cock & Bear beat the Abby Social 11 - 1 with Kenny Curzon the only winner for the Abbey, the Carousel also won 11 - 1 against newcomers the Crystal Palace 'B' who had D. Grewcock to thank for their point. Meanwhile the Crystal Palace 'A' side were running out 8 - 4 winners over the Blue Lion 'A' and Joe Fenlon won the last frame to earn the Prince a hard fought 7 - 5 victory over the Pig & Whistle 'B'. Finally we come to the Chetwynd who had an interesting night travelling to the White Lion Stockingford via the White Bear Atherstone.. worst still they lost the match when they eventually arrived. Sat Nav for Christmas me thinks...

November 17th

Looks like I spoke to Soon... The Co-op 'A' side in the Premier League have dropped out.. All teams will now have a bye... Must be a new record that 3 days before we actually start... Plus when you realise they were the Paraders last season who dropped out just before the end of the Summer league it means they've become the first side to do the double (of dropping out of the Summer and Winter League) in less than a month... Some going that... Teams in Division One this will not affect you!!! The Co-op Club side in your Division will be playing next season..

League Cup:-- The top two sides in the Premier League both crashed out in the first round.. Leaders Mount Pleasant 'B' went out 7 - 5 to Fife Street 'A' but the biggest upset saw Division Two's Rose Inn despatch the Hairy Hounds 7 - 6 with Rich Austin beating Tom Smee in the play off.. And yes Daz Henton, Karl Knight, Craig Smith etc all played... lmao... Other shocks included the unbeaten Division One leaders Hare & Hounds 'A' losing to Parade Punishers 7 - 3... The Lancet went close to knocking out the Mount Pleasant 'A' who needed Craig West to win in a play off... Elsewhere it was business as normal for the Royal Oak 'A' who breezed through 7 - 1...

March 22nd

Premier League:-- The Royal Oak 'A' are crowned winter league champions despite suffering their second defeat in a row. They went down 7 - 5 to the Hairy Hounds who keep their slim hopes of the Runners Up spot alive.. At the other end of the table the Sunnyside Nomads look doomed for the drop mathematically they can still stay up but there is more chance of Chicken Randle being quite for a whole night... It appears to be out of the Purley Chase and the Wheatsheaf 'B' as to who will join them in Division One next year... Averages Leader Lee Steptoe (Oak 'A')
Division One:-- Rileys 'B' are held to a draw by the Chase so failed to make top spot for a week.. But they need just one frame in their remaining match to secure top flight pool for the first time... Averages Leader Glenn Parkes (Hearty)
Division Two:-- The Lancet took a giant step towards the title by thrashing the Coniston 9 - 3 and they were given a helping hand by Fife Street 'B' who beat the Parade 7 - 5...  Averages Leader Graham Amos (Parade)
Division Three:-- White Bear 'B' stay top The Rose stay second... Averages Leader Gaz Fullylove (Clock 'B')

March 21st

Teams losing 5 points for non attendance of the meeting are.. Mount Pleasant, Sunnyside Nomads, Midland Railway, Hartshill Oak, King William, Wheatsheaf 'A' and Pig & Whistle 'B'.........

March 17th

Premier League:-- The Royal Oak may have slipped to their second defeat of the season at the Wheatsheaf but look set to clinch the title this week against the Hairy Hounds... They probably won't even need to win... The race for second spot is between Fife Street, Hairy Hounds and the Blue Boar.. But it's Fife Street that hold all the aces at present... They have an 8 point advantage and an easier run in than their rivals... Averages Leader Lee Steptoe (Oak 'A')
Division One:-- Attleborough Snooker have lead through out the season but could find themselves in second place next week if Rileys 'B' beat the Chase.. Rileys 'B' have had four straight wins where the Snooker boys have drew a couple.. They are due to meet in the final match of the season but the Snooker boys should be back on top by then and Rileys will have to much to do..... Averages Leader Glenn Parkes (Hearty)
Division Two:-- The tightest of all the divisions as 3 sides battle for the Title.. The Coniston, Parade and the Lancet.. A hard one to call this, but the Conny certainly have the hardest run in as they have to play both the Parade and Lancet... But this may suit the Conny in the long run... But either way this is another Division that may well be settled on the final night of the season.. Averages Leader Graham Amos (Parade)
Division Three:-- Barring any slip ups from the White Bear 'B' lads they should win this division, currently there 7 points clear of the Rose Inn.. The Rose should take the runners up spot... Averages Leader Gaz Fullylove (Clock 'B')

All tables have now been updated....... Don't forget its the Doubles this Thursday.....

July 13th

Premier League:-- The Mount Pleasant & the King William both made use of the Royal Oak's week off by closing the gap at the top to just 1 point. The Mount are second on frame difference after they pickled the Cabbage 9 - 3 while the Bill stay third just a point behind the front two thanks to a hard fought 8 - 4 victory over Rileys 'A'. At the other end of the table the Hairy Hounds edged closer to Division One losing 10 - 2 on their visit to the Wheatsheaf, while Rileys closed the gap between them and the Cabbage by a point. Meanwhile in the averages race we have a new leader's Mash Comley of the Blue Boar & Andy Williams from the Mount....
Division One:-- The top two met this week as the Nomads travelled to Rileys for what promised to be a battle royal, but it turned into a very one sided match as the Nomads ran away with the match ending up 10 - 2 victors.. The result puts the Nomads 8 points clear of Rileys 'B' who remain second. The Lancet moved up to third spot with this week's biggest win 11 - 1 over the Royal Oak 'B' with Sam Baginskis saving the Oak's blushes.. Ben Gilbey moves into top spot in the averages with team mate Paul 'Killer' Cartwright in second..
Division Two:-- The White Bear clocked up their 6th win of the season beating the Coniston Crusaders 7 - 5 and now lead the way by 10 points... It would have been fifteen but they failed to show for the meeting... could this cost them in the long run.. who knows.. The Miners are second but they also failed to show for the meeting so also lost 5 points this week they brushed aside he Abbey Exiles 8 - 4.. The Midland Railway are third with the Crusaders fourth...Chirs Aryes of the Crusaders moves top of the ranking for this Division with the Mid's Gaz Bromley in second...

July 7th

Announcement for all Premier League Sides... The Blue Lion is currently closed... Their Team has moved and will be playing from the Blue Boar in Atherstone....

July 6th

All the tables have been updated.... In the Premier League the Royal Oak returned to winning ways thumping the Mount pleasant 9 - 3... The King William move into 2nd spot after an 8 - 4 win at Fife Street... At the Bottom the Hairy Hounds are trying to avoid the drop by the halfway point but still went down 7 - 5 to the Spring Cabbage... In Division 1 the top 2 Rileys 'B' & King William Nomads both had comfortably 9 - 3 wins... The White Bear extended their lead in Division Two to 15 points but the second placed Miners have a game in hand... This week the Clock beat the Hayrick 10 - 2 the Miners beat the Chetwynd 7 - 5....

June 29th

Premier League:-- The Royal Oak lose again but stay top of the tree.... This week the King William just edged a close match 7 - 5... The Mount Pleasant move into 2nd spot after beating Rileys 'A' 7 - 5... Bit of a strange game this... Chucky won 2 frames and Mark Seaman won again!!! Stop rubbing your eyes its right!!! The Blue Lion had to much for the Hairy Hounds and the Spring Cabbage shared the points with the Wheatsheaf...All this means the Hairy Hounds could be relegated by the half way point of the season...
Division One:-- Leaders Rileys 'B' had a bye this week so it gave other teams chance to close the gap... The Nomads didn't waste this opportunity and nipped down Coton Road to the Rose and beat them 8 - 4... This puts them only 2 points behind Rileys and the pair meet in two weeks time... The Rose slip to third just ahead of the Lancet... They beat Fife Street 7 - 5 with old timers Pierre Flavell & Paul Barnett in scintillating form for the Bull Ring Boys......
Division Two:-- Well the The White Bear still have a healthy lead over the rest but where reminded it won't be a stroll in the park... Second placed Midland Railway steaming their way to a great 8 - 4 victory over the Atherstone boys...Paul Yeatman, Andy Blount & Nick Simpson all notching 2 wins apiece... The Miners are still in the mix and have a game in hand of their rivals... This week they roasted the Pig 10 -2.. Gaz Bromley, Ashley Mara, Daniel Nolan & Barry Mara all on cue for the Miners....

June 17th

Premier League:-- The Royal Oak stay clear at the top despite their first defeat of the season going down to the Wheatsheaf 'B' 7 - 5.. It was the Sheaf's first win of the summer despite missing several of their top players.. must of been geed on by something!!! Mount Pleasant move in to second spot after a 6 all draw with Fife Street who move into third place...... At the other end the Hairy Hounds stay rooted to the bottom and have Roger Smee to thank that their not further behind.. The Spring Cabbage are one place above but some 10 points clear of the struggling Hounds...
Division One:-- Rileys 'B' posted another warning to all their opponents by battering the highly rated Chase Inn 11 - 1... This emphatic victory puts them 9 points clear of second place Rose Inn with a game in hand... The main danger to Rileys will be the Nomads who if they put a team out are a match for any body... they managed to nick a draw this week at the Lancet with only 4 players....
Division Two:-- The White Bear have took a stranglehold on this division and are already 12 points clear of their nearest rivals the Abbey Exiles... Amazingly they also have 6 players in the top 10 of the Divisional averages.. Quite Remarkable as David would say!!!

June 15th

League Cup:-- Only two non Premier League teams made it in to the Quarter finals of the League Cup, The Midland Railway who beat the Rose and the Nomads who whitewashed the Royal Oak 'B' 7 - 0... More bad news for the Oak as their A side also went out, beaten 7 - 3 by the King William... Fife Street 'A' & The Spring Cabbage also whitewashed their opponents to breeze into the next round.. The Mount Pleasant, Rileys 'A' and the Blue Lion make up the Quarter Final line up....

Treasurers Trophy:-- Rileys 'B' confirmed their favourites tag when putting out the Hot Potting Chase 7 - 3... Fife Street 'B' edged the Wheatsheaf 7 - 5 and the Lancet just got the better of the Hayrick 'B' in another tight affair.. The White Bear had the easiest night though as The Chetwynd failed to show... not realising there was a match..

Not sure about the rumour that it broke after taking Chucky's photo 3 times....Photos in the Gallery Section

May 4th

The Summer League fixtures are now on line....

April 26th

League Cup: The Mount Pleasant finally secured themselves some Silverware... the perennial runners up finally got over the winners line beating the Royal Oak 'A' 7 - 2. Earlier in the night the Mount had an epic semi final with the Blue Lion.. It was nip and tuck all the way with no side getting the upper hand.. it seemed destined for a play off... but old head Geoff Hewitt won a frame he seemed destined to lose to edge the Bedworth lads into the final... In the other semi the Nomads were keeping the Oak quite as they shared they first eight frames before the Oak stepped up a gear to take three in a row... The Oak started favourites in the final but failed to take their chances in the first four frames with missed blacks in three of them, before they new it the Mount had a four frame advantage... This proved to much of a gap even for the mighty Chicken Randle (awesome serve shot to pot the black)  and co and the Mount eased to victory..
Treasures Trophy: Purley Chase came back from 3 - 1 to beat The Coniston Dream Boyz 7 - 4 in an excellent final... Earlier the Purley boys had beaten the Miners in a close semi final.. the Miners the first Division 2 side making it to the semi's for quite number of years so well done to them... The Dream Boyz cruised through there semi final against the out of sorts Hare & Hounds 'A'...

April 12th

Prem: The King William lifted the Premier League title thanks to a 9 - 3 victory over the Blue Lion. The Royal Oak 'A' have to settle for the runners up spot this year after a somewhat shaky last few weeks. They beat the Lancet 8 - 4 their first win in the league in four matches. The King William benefiting from this poor run... by putting in some excellent performances they managed to leap frog the Oak and take the title... The Mount Pleasant finish third some 40 points behind the Bill.. The already relegated Hearty popped in a good last Premier performance drawing with Fife Street, they will be joined in Div 1 next season by the Spring Cabbage... The Cabbage had to beat the Nomads 10 - 2 to stay up and to be fair to the Nomads they gave them a supporting chance by only turning up with 4 players.. But sadly for the Cabbage they were 4 good players and young Josh Griffiths beat Danny Barr to snatch a draw for the Nomads... Well done to the Royal Oak's Mark Chapman for taking the Premier League Averages title....
Div 1: Champions The Hairy Hounds played out a tame draw with the Royal Oak 'B' already knowing they were promoted, but who would join them... Purley Chase or the Abbey Social? Answers on a postcard cos I haven't had the scorecards!!! No only joking the Purley Chase hammered the Dream Boyz 10 -2 to take second spot by 3 points over the Abbey Postman... they beat the Mighty Reds 8 - 4 but this was not enough to over haul the Purley boys...The Purley Chase also took the Division One Averages title through Kev Morewood...
Div 2: The Chase Inn finally took the League with a comfortable 8 - 4 win over the Abbey Exiles... They've been the best side all season and fully deserve to take the title... But what a turnaround for the runners up spot.. on paper the Miners had the easier game at home to the lowly Wheatsheaf while neighbours the Midland Railway played hosts to the White bear.. Well would you believe it the Wheatsheaf snatch a draw at the Miners and the Mid powered to a 8 - 4 victory over the Clock and in doing so the took the runners up spot by a point... The Chase confirmed their dominance by not only having winner of the league averages the excellent Luke Cowap but they also filled the top 3 places....

April 12th

Prem: The Premier League title will be decided on final week of the season after The King William out potted the Royal Oak 8 - 4..The result means the King Bill move 4 points clear of the Oak... Relegated Hearty beat the Nomads 7 - 5 a result that might cost the Nomads their top league status. Its out of them and the Spring Cabbage who'll join the Hearty in Division One next year... And they play each other in the final match, the Nomads have a distinct advantage though as the Cabbage must win 10 - 2 to stay up..
Div 1: The Hairy Hounds clinched the Division One title with a strange draw against the Mighty Reds... The Hounds raced into a 6 - 0 lead, then promptly lost the final 6 frames.. The fight for second place is now down to two sides Purly Chase & Abbey Social... The Purly lads have a one point advantage at the moment over the Postman, both have tough last matches so it's going to be very close...
Div 2: The Chase will have to wait for the last game of the season to clinch Division Two, they have a 10 point lead at the moment but have a tricky final match against the Abbey Exiles....This week they beat rivals Midland Railway 8 - 4... this result sees the Mid and Miners change places as the Mid slip to third the Miners move into second spot with the latter having a comfortable 8 - 4 victory over Fife Street 'B'. Miners are now favourites to take the runners up spot....but you never know in his game....

April 9th

All league tables have been updated.... The Averages tables have also been updated....
Well done to Andy West & Baz Newnes, Mark Chapman & Keith Garner, Ross Krupa & John Croft plus Mash Comley & Paul Parker for getting through to the  doubles semi Finals....

March 30th

Prem: As a famous pundit once said about Football 'Its a funny old game'... Well Jim so is pool!!! The King William keep their title hopes in tact with a 12 - 0 battering of the Lancet... Bob 'Daz' Jefferies winning both his frames in fine style... The Oak slip up against the Mount going down for the first time this season. They are still in pole position and remain favourites for the title but their lead at the top has been cut to just 2 points. It may well be decided next week as the Oak and King William meet at the Bill. The Spring Cabbage moved out of the bottom two after drawing with the Blue Lion. Dazzling Danny Barr winning both his frames... You've gotta laugh... The lion did have 6 players as well...
Div 1: Coniston Dream Boyz move into second spot on frame difference after their 8 - 4 victory at Rileys while Abbey 'A' move up to third place after beating Hartshill Oak by the same 8 - 4 score line....
Div 2: The Chase destroy the Coniston Crusaders 12 - 0 but only extend their lead by a single point as second placed Midland Railway roast The Pig 11 - 1, Not to but out done third placed Miners Arms keep in contention by thumping Abbey Exiles 10 - 2. So it's still all to play for.. The top two meet next week so the Miners will be hoping to close the gap on both..... Definitely make or break for someone next week...

March 25th

Message from Danny 'J-Fish' Evans 'Ooh arrgh Get off my land!! No sorry serious now....The Registration night for the Summer League will be held at Rileys between 7pm & 8pm on April 24th... March 20th

Fife Streets Mick Richardson was on cue last night potting his way to the Individuals title in fine style... More to follow shortly...

March 17th

Tables updated... Stop rubbing your eyes.. Yes they've been updated before the next game.... Amazing I know....
Prem: Looks like its another title for the Royal Oak 'A' unless they fall over at the final hurdle... Hey they have the ability to do it...J... The King William look a safe bet for the runners- up spot... With the Hearty making a quick return to Division One, with the Spring Cabbage!!! who this week held the mighty Oak to a draw.... Strange game pool.......
Div 1: All bets are off on who'll be champions of this Division with the Hairy Hounds now 27 points clear...But the intriguing thing is who'll go up with them.. Just 3 points separate the Royal Oak B, Purley Chase, Abbey Social A and the Dream Boyz with just 3 games to go... We'll go for the Purley Chase... that's put the Kybosh on them....Sorry Boys!!!
Div 2: The Chase hold top spot at the moments by 5 points, they have enough quality in their ranks to hold off the pack led by the Midland Railway.. But you never know... The Miners still have an outside chance of glory....plus on paper they have the easiest run in......
